3 days until school starts

Well I will start by saying, "Wow, where did the summer go?" I can't believe Anthony goes back to school on Wednesday and Lexy goes back on Sep. 9th. We finally finished up all of our school shopping a few days ago. I can't lie and say that I am not anxious for school to start because I am very excited for a little break, but I know part of me will miss them so much. It has been a very busy summer for us with the move. Ryan has been working ALL the time it seems like, so I am hating that about Cape Cod, but I LOVE the area. There is just something about this place. Carter will be 7 months next week. He is sitting up on his own and is trying to get his two bottom front teeth. I was finally able to get him in with a GI Dr in Boston, we go on Sep. 20th. Hopefully the Drs can do their magic and make him better, lol. That is all for today, sorry I was all over the place. We are heading out on Wednesday for a much needed camping trip to Maine, so I will blog all about it when we get back!

just the beginning

I have loved writing since I was a little girl, and since I am not so good at keeping in touch these days, I figured what a better way to keep all of our friends and family up to date with what is going on in our ever changing crazy life.
The 3 kids and our most recent move to the Cape has kept me one busy mama. I used to be so against moving when we first joined the CG, but I really enjoy it now. I love to experience living in all these new places. I crave the change. I am not to fond of the actual packing and unpacking part, but it's all part of the process.
This past move was by far the hardest. We recently experienced the hardest thing any parent can ever go through; the loss of a child. It taught us to live in the moment and never take a single second for granted. It was very hard for me to leave behind the home in NC where we brought Cayden home to. This whole grieving experience is all new to me.
We are now here though in our new home in Cape Cod and really liking it. There is something about New England that I can't get enough of. Trust me, there are some things I really miss about the south, like, real SWEET TEA!! but this is home to me and I feel very lucky that Ryan likes it just as much as I do, seeing that he was raised in Fl since he was a few months old. There is so much for us to do and see in the 4 yrs that we are here and I am so excited I can barely wait! and I can't wait to blog about it all too!
