Wow, I don't even know where to start. I did not even realize how long it had been since I wrote on here.
We had Lexy's 6th birthday party as planned. Memo and Papa came for it. We had 16 kids come from the neighborhood. Everything went well and Lexy had so much fun and recieved alot of nice gifts. I still can't believe that she is 6.
Anthony and Lexy are still doing great in school. They both like it,so that is a relief. Work life for Ryan has gotten a little bit better since he is a flight mech again. Carter has been crawling backwards(lol)for a few weeks now and he finally got his 2 bottom teeth about 10 days ago. He is now 24 lbs now and is too cute for his own good. We all miss Cayden like crazy and wish he could be here with us to reach every milestone that Carter does.
Just last weekend we took our last camping trip for the year/season. We went to Foxboro, Ma. It was a very nice campground right next to the only Bass Pro Shop in New England and The Patriots stadium. We had a great time(like always)! I will be looking forward to our next trip in the spring.
We will be heading out 0n wednesday to Vt to have Thanksgiving at my Dads. I will try my hardest to get some picture posted on here and blog a little more often.
Be safe and love every second you are given with your family. We never know what tomorrow brings!

trip to Maine, school, and more
Since the last time I was on here, we took the best vacation ever to Bar Harbor, Maine. I went there when I was about 6 years old and it was so amazing to go back. I don't think I have ever seen anything so beautiful. We went to the top of Cadillac mtn (tallest mtn on the east coast) hiked a few different trails, went to the sand bar( at low tide everyday a mile wide sand bar appears and you can walk to an island, but by high tide it is very deep water). It was so cool. I think I actually almost cried when it was time to leave. Since we got home, both Anthony and Lexy have started school. Lexy started kindergarten and is LOVING it! She rides the bus and is in school from 9-11:30. Her teacher is so sweet and she has made a bunch of friends already! Anthony started middle school. He is also riding the bus and seems to be enjoying it all as much as a boy his age would, lol. He got lucky and has two great teachers and hasn't had too much homework. With all that said Carter and I have been keeping busy, there isn't much time to do too much during the day before we have to get Lexy off the bus. He gets super excited when he sees both of them. it is so cute! I am now in the process of planning Alexy's 6th birthday party. It is only 3 weeks away. We are inviting all of the kids on our street and renting a bounce house. We are also going to tye dye shirts.. I think the kids will have fun doing it. Ant and Lexy did it in Maine and they loved it! Now, I can't leave my Ryan out in all of this. He has been busy at work trying to adjust to the air station way of life again..which includes standing overnight duty every 4 days. I love my wonderful husband, he works very hard to give the kids and I the best life and I am forever grateful! My family is my life and I love them all more then they could ever know!

3 days until school starts
Well I will start by saying, "Wow, where did the summer go?" I can't believe Anthony goes back to school on Wednesday and Lexy goes back on Sep. 9th. We finally finished up all of our school shopping a few days ago. I can't lie and say that I am not anxious for school to start because I am very excited for a little break, but I know part of me will miss them so much. It has been a very busy summer for us with the move. Ryan has been working ALL the time it seems like, so I am hating that about Cape Cod, but I LOVE the area. There is just something about this place. Carter will be 7 months next week. He is sitting up on his own and is trying to get his two bottom front teeth. I was finally able to get him in with a GI Dr in Boston, we go on Sep. 20th. Hopefully the Drs can do their magic and make him better, lol. That is all for today, sorry I was all over the place. We are heading out on Wednesday for a much needed camping trip to Maine, so I will blog all about it when we get back!

just the beginning
I have loved writing since I was a little girl, and since I am not so good at keeping in touch these days, I figured what a better way to keep all of our friends and family up to date with what is going on in our ever changing crazy life.
The 3 kids and our most recent move to the Cape has kept me one busy mama. I used to be so against moving when we first joined the CG, but I really enjoy it now. I love to experience living in all these new places. I crave the change. I am not to fond of the actual packing and unpacking part, but it's all part of the process.
This past move was by far the hardest. We recently experienced the hardest thing any parent can ever go through; the loss of a child. It taught us to live in the moment and never take a single second for granted. It was very hard for me to leave behind the home in NC where we brought Cayden home to. This whole grieving experience is all new to me.
We are now here though in our new home in Cape Cod and really liking it. There is something about New England that I can't get enough of. Trust me, there are some things I really miss about the south, like, real SWEET TEA!! but this is home to me and I feel very lucky that Ryan likes it just as much as I do, seeing that he was raised in Fl since he was a few months old. There is so much for us to do and see in the 4 yrs that we are here and I am so excited I can barely wait! and I can't wait to blog about it all too!
